Does it hurt?

Yes, it hurts. But if the pain was unbearable nobody would have any tattoos at all. Choose a less painful area for your tattoo if you are really sensitive or concerned. The more well rested, hydrated, & well fed you are prior to your appointment, the more it will help mitigate the pain.

How much will it cost?

That depends! Size, detail, & placement all effect the pricing of the tattoo. An accurate estimate will be given during a consultation where we can go over the details of what you would like. A cash deposit of $80 will be required to make the appointment. For larger pieces that take over 3 hours, pricing is $150/hr. Pieces which will take less than 3, will be priced by the piece.

Deposit Policy

All deposits are non-refundable. The deposit is deductible from the cost of the tattoo. For larger pieces, the deposit will be held until the last appointment, at which time it is deducted from the final bill. Appointment cancellations must be made a minimum of 48 hours prior to the agreed appointment time, or the deposit will be forfeited.

Do you use vegan ink?

Yes! In fact we can assure your entire experience is vegan friendly upon request.

TIPPING

Thank you for your consideration! It's not expected but nice. Normally, whatever you can is appreciated, most people getting tattooed end up tacking on 10-20% (15% is the average) of the cost of the tattoo as a tip. Bottom line- if you like the tattoo you ended up with; tip.

Aftercare

  1. Always wash your hands prior removing the bandage or touching the tattoo.

  2. Remove the bandage after 24 to 48 hours, or as instructed.

  3. Wash the tattoo using a mild unfragranced soap. Take care to remove all traces of blood & plasma. Do not scrub the tattoo with a washcloth during the first two weeks of healing. Pat it dry with a clean soft cloth or paper towel.

  4. Repeat the cycle of washing, drying, & applying ointment to the tattoo about 2 times per day for the first 2 weeks.

  5. Moisturizer can be applied whenever the tattoo is feeling stiff or dry but beware of over-moisturizing.

  6. A protective film may form in 2-3 days and will normally flake off by the 7th day. Once the scab is gone, discontinue the use of the moisturizer. You may also notice a scaled layer on the tattoo at this time; this is completely normal and will settle after another week or two.

  7. Please refrain from picking or scratching at the tattoo. Scrubbing with a washcloth can be very harsh on a tattoo and will cause your colours to fade. Disrupting the tattoo while it’s healing can also cause scar tissue. It is normal for the tattoo to become very itchy during the healing time.

  8. Most of the healing occurs in the first 7 to 10 days. Complete healing may take up to 30 days.
